We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly responsive Production Designer to join a busy retail creative team. This role is ideal for someone who is exceptionally strong in layout and Photoshop, enjoys the pace and collaboration of an agency-style environment, and takes pride in producing accurate, polished work.

The majority of the role will focus on production design within established templates, with opportunities to support digital advertising and other creative deliverables.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.

What You'll Do

  • Produce and update retail creative using established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Execute high-volume layout and production work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Incorporate edits and feedback from the proofing team accurately and efficiently.
  • Retouch, manipulate and prepare imagery in Photoshop for use across retail marketing materials.
  • Support the development and adaptation of digital ads and print POS materials as secondary areas of the role.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files and troubleshoot file issues as they arise.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and collaborate closely with designers, production, proofing and other team members.
  • Respond quickly to revisions, questions and changing priorities.
  • Proactively communicate timing, potential delays or issues that could impact delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Professional experience in production design, graphic design or production art, ideally within retail, agency or another high-volume creative environment.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Excellent layout skills, including a strong understanding of typography, spacing, hierarchy and composition.
  • Strong Photoshop and image-editing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute proofing changes accurately.
  • Comfortable working within established templates and creative systems.
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables and quick-turn revisions without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Highly responsive and communicative, with a proactive approach to keeping the team informed.
  • Collaborative, engaged and comfortable contributing in meetings.
  • A positive team player who enjoys working closely with others in a fast-moving environment.

Candidates should be prepared to share examples demonstrating strong layout and Photoshop skills. Catalogue, promotional or similarly complex multi-product layout work would be particularly relevant.

Work Environment

This team works at a fast pace and values people who are engaged, responsive and collaborative. The environment is similar to an agency setting, with frequent communication, quick-turn requests and close teamwork.

Hybrid: Three days per week in office.
