We're looking for an experienced Production Designer to provide ongoing, ad hoc support to an agency working with a large national client.

This is a part-time freelance engagement with fluctuating hours, ideal for someone who enjoys detailed production and layout work and is comfortable jumping in as projects arise.

The creative direction and core concepts will already be established. Your role will be to take approved creative and adapt, version and roll it out across a variety of formats and deliverables, while maintaining a high level of visual consistency and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

  • Work within established creative concepts, brand guidelines and templates.
  • Adapt and version approved creative across multiple formats, sizes and channels.
  • Execute polished layouts with strong attention to spacing, hierarchy, typography, colour and composition.
  • Prepare and update materials across:
    • Print
    • Digital
    • Social
    • Direct mail
    • Sales collateral
    • Employee communications
    • Channel and promotional materials

  • Manage multiple versions and iterations while ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
  • Prepare clean, accurate, production-ready files for final delivery.
  • Collaborate with agency creative and account teams as projects arise.

What We're Looking For

  • Professional experience as a Production Designer, Production Artist, Graphic Designer or similar.
  • Strong layout and production-design skills.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, whitespace, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience adapting existing creative across numerous formats and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working across multiple versions of the same campaign or asset.
  • Experience producing both print and digital marketing materials.
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Comfortable working within established templates and brand systems rather than developing net-new creative concepts.
  • Agency experience is an asset.
  • Able to work independently, turn around revisions efficiently and manage changing priorities.
