We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Photo Retoucher to join our client's production team on a full-time freelance basis. This will start as a 2 month contract with strong potential to continue to extend. 

The ideal candidate brings strong technical retouching and imaging skills, a solid understanding of  photography and photorealism , and experience producing polished commercial work. An advertising background with product-focused work is highly valued.

What you'll do:

• Create high-end, photorealistic imagery for advertising and commercial campaigns
• Retouch, composite, colour-correct, and finish studio and lifestyle photography
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and other imaging artists
• Work within established file structures, naming conventions, and production workflows
• Support the Toronto team while helping with overflow projects across the wider studio

What We're Looking For

• Mid-level to senior experience in commercial retouching / imaging
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop
• Excellent understanding of photography, lighting, composition, and photorealism
• Strong technical execution with a portfolio demonstrating polished, realistic imagery
• Advertising, automotive, product, food, or lifestyle experience is an asset
• 3D and rendering experience is a bonus, but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating remotely via Slack and Zoom
• Reliable, responsive, organized, and willing to learn established studio workflows
