We're seeking a talented and results-driven Performance Creative Designer to join our retail technology client on a 6-month full-time contract, with the potential to extend. This role is remote, with occasional in-office collaboration days throughout the year.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who understands how creative drives performance. You'll work closely with our client's in-house marketing and design teams to develop high-converting paid social and digital marketing assets that support customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with a performance marketing mindset, leveraging creative best practices, platform nuances, and testing insights to create assets that not only look great but deliver measurable results.
What You'll Do
Performance Marketing & Paid Social
- Design high-performing creative assets for paid social campaigns across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and other digital channels
- Create static, carousel, motion, and video-first ad concepts optimized for customer acquisition and conversion
- Develop multiple creative variations to support A/B testing and ongoing campaign optimization
- Translate performance insights, audience data, and campaign objectives into compelling creative executions
- Collaborate closely with marketing, growth, and media teams to continuously improve campaign performance through creative testing
- Stay current on platform trends, ad formats, and performance creative best practices
Digital Production Design
- Resize and reformate digital marketing assets including landing pages, emails, web banners, promotional campaigns, and product launches
- Build assets in Figma while maintaining brand consistency across all customer touchpoints
- Support integrated marketing initiatives across owned and paid channels
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience designing for performance marketing, paid social, or digital acquisition campaigns
- Strong portfolio showcasing paid social ads, digital campaigns, and conversion-focused creative
- Deep understanding of social-first design principles and platform-specific best practices
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience creating assets for creative testing, campaign optimization, and growth marketing initiatives
- Strong typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling skills
- Ability to balance brand consistency with performance-driven experimentation
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience working in-house or closely with growth marketing teams is highly preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing for paid social
- Knowledge of creative performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, and conversion rates
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer technology, or DTC brands
- Familiarity with user-generated content (UGC) and creator-style advertising
