Our client is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager (Mobile) to drive user acquisition and app growth initiatives for a consumer-facing mobile product. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys balancing strategy and execution, and has a strong understanding of mobile app performance marketing.

 

You'll play a key role in developing and executing full-funnel growth strategies, optimizing app store presence, and partnering with external agencies to drive measurable business outcomes.

 

What You'll Be Doing

 

Mobile Growth & User Acquisition

  • Develop and execute full-funnel growth strategies focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Monitor and optimize mobile app performance across key acquisition channels.
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, downloads, and customer acquisition efficiency.
  • Support growth initiatives across primarily iOS-focused campaigns.

 

App Store Optimization (ASO)

  • Own ongoing app store optimization efforts.
  • Update screenshots, descriptions, metadata, and keyword strategies.
  • Monitor app store performance metrics, including impressions, conversion rates, rankings, and downloads.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility and conversion within app marketplaces.

 

Agency Management

  • Partner closely with multiple external agencies responsible for campaign execution.
  • Translate business objectives into clear performance marketing strategies and priorities.
  • Hold agency partners accountable for delivery, performance, optimization, and reporting.
  • Review recommendations, challenge assumptions, and ensure campaigns are aligned to growth objectives.

 

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor performance across channels including:
    • TikTok
    • Google Ads
    • Google UAC
    • Apple Search Ads
  • Analyze performance data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and scale.
  • Track KPIs including acquisition costs, conversion rates, download volume, and growth trends.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

 

What We're Looking For

 

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, user acquisition, or mobile app marketing.
  • Hands-on experience managing or optimizing mobile app acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) best practices.
  • Experience working with paid media channels such as Google Ads, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, and TikTok.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable growth strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data.
  • Experience managing agency partners and external vendors.
  • Highly self-directed, autonomous, and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills with a direct, transparent, and solutions-oriented approach.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with subscription-based products or mobile consumer applications.
  • Understanding of customer lifetime value (LTV), retention, and cohort analysis.
  • Experience in high-growth startup, technology, or digital-first environments.
  • Agency experience supporting app growth or performance marketing clients.

 

Success in This Role

You'll be comfortable making recommendations, holding partners accountable, and balancing both strategic thinking and hands-on optimization to drive measurable growth.
