We're partnering with an agency to find a Senior UX/UI Designer who thrives at the intersection of strategy, user experience, and polished execution.

 

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact digital products and customer experiences for globally recognized brands across retail, automotive, financial services, tech, and loyalty ecosystems. Projects range from optimizing existing digital experiences to helping shape new features, platforms, and customer journeys.

 

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across the full product design lifecycle, partnering closely with product, customer experience, and stakeholder teams to create thoughtful, user-centred digital experiences.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading UX strategy and design initiatives from discovery through execution
  • Conducting heuristic audits and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Creating:
    • user journeys
    • user flows
    • information architecture
    • wireframes
    • prototypes
    • high-fidelity designs
  • Contributing to and working within established design systems
  • Supporting user research and usability testing activities
  • Collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to solve customer and business challenges
  • Presenting work and articulating design rationale confidently to clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting digital product enhancements, loyalty experiences, ecommerce initiatives, portals, and feature launches
  • Exploring and incorporating AI-assisted workflows and tools where appropriate

     

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both:
    • strategic UX thinking
    • polished UI execution
  • Experience designing digital products across web and mobile applications
  • Strong expertise in:
    • information architecture
    • user journeys
    • wireframing
    • prototyping
    • high-fidelity UI design
    • design systems
  • Experience conducting or contributing to:
    • user research
    • heuristic evaluations
    • usability testing
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills

     

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with loyalty, ecommerce, or customer experience platforms
  • Exposure to digital product strategy
  • Data visualization experience
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled design workflows/tools (e.g., Figma AI, UX Pilot)
  • Experience working within enterprise or global brand environments

Engagement Details

  • 3+ month contract opportunity
  • Opportunity to support multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Predominantly focused on enhancing and optimizing existing digital products, with occasional net-new initiatives
  • Open to candidates based in Canada
