Our B2B SaaS client is seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer who is passionate about AI and constantly exploring new ways to leverage emerging technologies to improve workflows, website performance, content creation, and user experiences.

This is not a traditional WordPress development role. We're looking for someone who naturally gravitates toward AI tools, experiments with new technologies, and proactively identifies opportunities to automate processes, increase efficiency, and enhance digital experiences through AI-powered solutions.

You'll work closely with marketing, web, and business stakeholders to maintain and evolve a high-performing web presence while helping shape how AI is integrated into the organization's digital ecosystem.

What You'll Do

WordPress Development

• Own the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of the company's WordPress website
• Build custom themes, templates, landing pages, and functionality as required
• Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement enhancements across the web platform
• Manage integrations with marketing, CRM, analytics, and third-party tools

AI & Automation Initiatives

• Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and identify opportunities to improve web operations and marketing workflows
• Leverage AI to accelerate development, content management, QA, testing, and website optimization
• Implement AI-powered features and integrations where appropriate, including chatbots, search experiences, personalization, content generation, and workflow automation
• Build and maintain automated processes that reduce manual effort and improve team efficiency
• Partner with stakeholders to explore innovative ways AI can support business and marketing objectives

Marketing & Growth Support

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop landing pages, campaign microsites, and conversion-focused web experiences
• Support SEO initiatives and website optimization efforts
• Help streamline content publishing and website management processes
• Identify opportunities to improve user engagement, lead generation, and website performance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of WordPress development experience
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development best practices
• Experience building custom WordPress solutions and integrations
• Demonstrated interest in generative AI and emerging technologies
• Hands-on experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar AI platforms within development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity for experimentation and continuous learning
• Experience working with marketing teams and supporting lead-generation websites
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal oversight

Nice-to-Have

• Experience integrating AI-powered tools, APIs, or applications into websites
• Familiarity with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n
• Experience with technical SEO and website analytics
• B2B SaaS experience
• Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and growth marketing initiatives
